The Center for Innovation in College Media is looking for ambitious and progressive college journalists and advisers to lead the digital journalism revolution in their campus newsrooms and beyond.

This will not be your typical college journalism conference. If you’re looking for a vacation with a little talk mixed in, look on. If you’re serious about learning, join us. We’re looking for people who can sustain an intensive hands-on, three-day workshop.

Participants will work in small teams equipped with digital video cameras, digital audio recorders, laptop computers and necessary software and produce real stories and multimedia content. Basic instruction, real-time coaching and final critiques will be provided by some of the nation’s best new media professionals.

You’ll leave with the ability to plan, execute and display digital multimedia stories online. You’ll learn innovative and concrete skills that can be used immediately in your newsroom. You’ll also leave with the mindset and skills that journalism’s best employers now demand.
